  We booked in advance knowing it would be busy. Arrived at our time slot and was seated quite quickly.
  
  Not sure if the team were running a skeleton crew with it being Christmas time or if that is the usual amount in but they all seemed very over tasked. Trying to do too many jobs at once.
  
  Our server didn't seem to remember the order customers came in and overlooked us a few times serving later arrivals first.
  
  The carvery was acceptable with a good selection of vegetables although the meat wasnt the greatest quality.

  Food good as always ordered sweets advertise at £2 asking for bill was surprised to find the sweets being £3.99 this was because we had a 20% of voucher there was no mention of the sweets being full price if you also had 20% off false advertising on the sweet offer card
